Community Arts
B.E.A.M. aims to make the arts work for the community. We look at areas within communities where personal development, education and mutual understanding are lacking and where possible, devise a bespoke programme to counteract the void.
We offer arts and drama and dance workshops which can be tailor-made to suit the needs of the school, youth or community group covering a diverse range of subjects
B.E.A.M also offer puppet shows. The puppet shows are a great way of conveying safety messages to younger audiences. We aim to promote inclusion and have had one script already translated in Polish, and can translate further scripts if required.
Though the expert talents available of scriptwriting and drama, we can provide bespoke drama sketches for conferences and street theatre tailored to any theme.
All our facilitators adhered to a strict code of conduct, are POCVA checked, and have received extensive training in the skills of facilitating workshops.
Our ability in being able to deliver workshops by a passionate, artistic and professional team has lead to our “sensitive issue” workshops (including bullying and suicide awareness) being approved by the NSPCC and the Southern Education and Library Board.
